Early in my network marketing journey I heard many sad stories of good business builders who burnt out before they reached their financial freedom. People that I believed had great potential to succeed in their home based business. They had come to a place where they were over network MARKETING, complaining that it was too hard. Hearing these stories shocked me because I am the type of person that has to be on the winning side if I take on a project I have to reach the top. I hate to fail. I learnt that their's a difference with being a business builder selling a product and being a network marketer.
Marketing is locating prospects that are qualified.
You can recognize qualified prospects for your business by.
They can afford the opportunity.
They have wants (not needs) that can be fulfilled by your opportunity. They have time for your opportunity.
They are willing and able to make a decision on your opportunity.
What is selling than?
Selling is the actual presentation a salesman gives to qualified and unqualified prospects. As you can see, good network marketing is much more important than sales skills. If you are a good marketer (locator of qualified prospects), then even a poor selling presentation will be okay. Qualified prospects want what you have, even if it is presented poorly.
Selling skills are grossly overrated. Why?
No matter how smooth or entertaining your sales presentation, nothing happens unless you are giving a presentation to qualified prospects. Too many super salesmen think they can build a networking business simply by giving their presentation to lots of people. That doesn't work YOU WILL ONLY BURN OUT.
You can present your opportunity to thousands of unqualified prospects and never get a sale. No matter how well you sell, it's all wasted unless you have qualified prospects.
Whatever business you want to promote, you have to find a friendly way of presenting your opportunity through general conversation and useful information, ask questions in a non threatening way to see if they qualify. Build a relationship with the person that you are talking to.

Hi this is the first of many blogs that will be written about my life's journey with network marketing and a new product that will benefit you some where in your life in health and wealth.
To start my blog let me tell you a bit about myself I am 5ft 11 inches blond hair a male of the spices. I was born in Mount Isa a mining town in the centre of Queensland Australia. my passion has always been to make money, I remember at a very early age I would go to the local rubbish tip and collect comic books that people had thrown out with their rubbish, after a collected at lest ten comic books I would than go door to door selling them to other children.
when I was 11years of age my family moved to Cooktown, my passion for making money had grown from collecting old thrown away stuff to catching fish and selling them to the locals or any one that had the dollars. This passion has lead me to get involved in many different network marketing concepts and ground floor opportunities, some were successful and others not so successful but at the end of the day or concept I always made some money. From my 10 years of experience with Network marketing building relationships and friendships is what it's all about and when you get that down right the rest will follow.
At this moment in my marketing life I'm over ground floor opportunities they always seem to have a very short life expectancy, yeah you make the money but it's short lived. like skybiz the business that started the home based web sites or 1cell net the revolutionary phone call back system all had great potential but didn't last.
